What is LOXOL, and where did the name come from? My father always said to me, “It is a matter of time; everything will be good; challenge everything.” We all love our parents, and, as children, we always look at them as heroes. My father gave the right passion to his child and motivated me. He was always beside me for many reasons. Every father has some interest in the material life. Some are interested in cars, some in clothes or football, and I remember my father loved watches. I could see he wanted to have his own, but we were in a very bad financial situation, especially when we had to sell our home to pay for my mother’s operations since she was fighting cancer. So, being more honest, my mother was busy with her, and I totally understood that, but she never forgot me as her child. The most love and tenderness I received was from my father, especially once my mother passed away when I was 10 years old. Father mentioned the hardest time for him was to take care of a child at the age of ten, where that child needs both parents. It was a very difficult time for him, as he lost his beloved wife, was fighting epilepsy sickness, and I remembered one day that I was sitting and looking at him as he gazed at the watches in a magazine, and I wished I could have the money to buy him that watch he liked, just to make him happy and thank him for what he gave me, but I could not. I was just a child, and I was just wishing. My father had epilepsy, and he took medicine for it called Loxol. He would have episodes of epilepsy from time to time, and it was so difficult to see my father fall, his body trembling, and biting his tongue. I don’t want this to be a long, sad story, but my father passed away when I was only 15 years old, and my older sister took care of me until I could take care of myself. Since that time, I have promised my father and myself that when I grew up, I would create my own watch brand company and use the name of his medicine, Loxol.
