Caring for Your LOXOL Timepiece
A LOXOL watch is designed to provide years of reliable performance and timeless style. Proper care and maintenance will help preserve its appearance and precision for generations.
Water Resistance
All LOXOL watches are tested according to their specified water-resistance rating.
Please remember that water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time due to normal wear of seals and gaskets.
To help maintain water resistance:
• Ensure the crown is fully secured before exposure to water.
• Avoid operating the crown or pushers while the watch is wet.
• Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorinated water.
• Have water resistance checked periodically if the watch is frequently exposed to water.
Mechanical & Automatic Watches
Automatic watches are powered by the natural movement of your wrist.
If your watch has not been worn for several days, it may stop running. Simply wind the crown and gently move the watch to restart the movement.
For optimal performance:
• Wear your watch regularly.
• Wind the watch if it has been inactive for an extended period.
• Avoid exposing the watch to strong impacts or shocks.
Avoid Magnetic Fields
Strong magnetic fields can affect the accuracy of a mechanical watch.
Avoid placing your watch near:
• Mobile phones
• Speakers
• Magnets
• Induction cooktops
• Electronic devices that generate strong magnetic fields

Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your LOXOL timepiece:
• Wipe the case and crystal regularly with a soft microfiber cloth.
• Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
• Remove dust and dirt gently using a soft brush.
• Ensure the watch is completely dry before storage.
Leather Strap Care
Genuine leather is a natural material that develops character over time.
To prolong the life of your leather strap:
• Avoid prolonged exposure to water.
• Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and chemicals.
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Natural aging of leather is normal and contributes to the unique character of your timepiece.
Storage
When not wearing your watch:
• Store it in its original LOXOL presentation box.
• Keep it away from excessive heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the watch.
